Reading & Writing:
This week we located important and unimportant details using a story called “A Lucky Accident.” We also talked about how events in a story are organized and connected. Also, we talked about making inferences using the story “Two Famous Inventors.”
During writing time, we wrote our introductions for our books about inventions. We practiced writing a hook and providing our opinion about the invention that we thought was the most important.
Math:
This week we focused on comparing 3 digit numbers using >,<, and = symbols.
Social Studies:
We wrapped up our regions and the Native Americans this week. Next week we will start making our dioramas to show what we have learned about one of the regions we discussed. Donations of the supplies listed below would be appreciated. Thank you!
